I got a card from a dear friend today showing her love for me just because.  :)kindness is such a powerful thing.just being generous with your joy, time, or resources can revolutionize a life.it's your kindness Lord that leads me to repentance. we have the choice to be kind.i want to make that choice everyday.

Audrey Hepburn

I went into a new consignment store last week.  It was the best decorated one I've ever been in very modern and fun. Lots of black, white and pink.  I noticed there were a few pictures of Audrey Hepburn here and there.  Needless to say I was inspired so I painted this.  I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.
I was able to finish it in one day... working on it during nap time and about an hour after the kids went to bed for the night.

Spring Flowers

My mom has these beautiful tulips that just bloomed. I just snapped a few pics of them yesterday.  

This one was a complete accident but I really like it.

I didn't photoshop any of these... I'm just amazed at how much the colors just pop.

I'm so happy with my purchase.  Before I actually avoided taking pictures inside a lot just because I didn't like the harsh light that a flash produces.  Which made me miss capturing fun events in my kids lives.

The BIGGEST BESTEST Surprise EVER!

A little over a week ago Andrew told me he bought a surprise for the girls and not to look at the bank account so I wouldn't know what it was.
I thought, "This is fun.  I like surprises."

We have been waiting for the package to come and today it did.

We saw the Fed Ex truck drive up to the house.  I was so excited to see the surprise he had for the girls.... What could it be?

The girls helped me bring it in... the label gave no indication of what company it had come from.  ("We"=Me, my mom, and sister had been guessing since he told me it was coming)

I cut the tape and the girls were excited to see what was in the box... they love mail.  Who doesn't?  I was excited and it wasn't even for me.

They lift the lid.... 

And pull out the crumpled brown paper.... 

What is it? 

What?!

Wait a minute??? 

That is definitely not for children?
