Project 365: Day 29

This makes me very happy. Even though I am fully capable of walking from the back of the parking lot sometimes it's just nice to have a front row spot.

Project 365: Day 27

I know this is blurry... but it was soo cute to find Taurin sleeping in Shaw's crib with her hand gently resting on his head so sweet and nurturing. She loves her brother.

Project 365: Day 24

I wear these 2 rings every day.
The one on the top... my wedding ring... I've had for 6 years in May.
The one on the bottom... my honor ring... I've had for 9 years.
It' says, "I am my Beloved's and He is mine" in Hebrew.

Project 365: Day 22

Shaw takes the corner very serious.... So serious that it's humorous.
Although this is a perfect picture of the day because all the kids and the dog have been a bit disobedient today. But some days that's just how it goes.

1/4 C. White Sugar
1 (3.5 oz) Vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 375.
Cream butter & sugar. Add pudding, eggs, and vanilla. Combine flour & baking soda and add to cream mixture & mix well. Fold in chips.

Project 365: Day 5

This effect was created with the camera in my right hand and a bottle of baby powder in the left hand... it's amazing how many different shapes you can capture of small particles swirling in the air.  I had so many images it was hard to choose just one.

Project 365: Day 1

I saw a reminder for doing a 365 days of photos and it's something I've always wanted to do... and what better day to start than January 3rd?  I will take and post at least one photo a day for the next 365 days. I will post a photo that I have taken on that day. So, here is the first of 365 photos.

This was taken out my bedroom window. We got 2 beautiful inches of snow : )

Snow Dayz

Southern Utah rarely gets snow, so it was very exciting for us to get a bit of snow this year.  We had about 1.5 inches of dry snow that was very difficult to build a snowman but the girls still made this little guy... pictured with his pet frog : )

After playing in the snow in our own yard we ventured up to Pine Valley a near by mountainous area with much more snow to take the kids sledding.  These are a few pics I snapped on the way.  Southern Utah has some amazing rock formations that were really exaggerated by the snow.

It took us about 30 min just to get everyone bundled... they did not enjoy waiting.

Yup, that me. Getting the sledding started. I forgot how much work climbing up a snowy hill was.

 Snow clothes are soo attractive.

Shaw enjoying eating some snow.

Check out the snowy lashes.

Taurin eating some snow...

 After he crashed....
